This video explains a reason for the link between music, geometry and mathematics. The idea of the Music of the Spheres can seem a very primitive idea, but today we have spherical harmonics at the heart of quantum mechanics and also at the largest scale of the Universe we have spherical harmonics being linked to the Cosmic Microwave Background Radiation. This video links the work of Pythagoras with these modern ideas of physics and cosmology giving us a deeper understanding of reality.
