What does it mean to say “Time is emergent”

To say time is emergent is saying that the characteristics of time like having an ever changing world, with an uncertain future is arising out of interactions at an elementary level.

In this theory the spontaneous absorption and emission of light forms the passage of time.

Light has spherical geometry and because an interior of a sphere is naturally three-dimensional this process will form the emergence of three dimensional space with one variable in the form of time.

We have the wave particle duality of light, with the light waves forming the uncertainty as the wave front radiates out. The particle characteristics of light and matter in the form of electrons represents the future continuously unfolding or coming into existence.

Each one of the four fundamental forces has a part to play in this interaction that is unfolding relative to the two dimensional spherical surface. In our everyday life, this manifold or boundary condition is seen as the movement of positive and negative charge.

Quantum Entanglement Explained by Huygens’ Principle (Spherical Symmetry)

In just the same way as a pebble dropped into water will form ripples that are relative and synchronized as they radiate out from their centre source. Light waves of a common source will have Quantum Entanglement with spin or polarization relative to new photon oscillations. This can be explained by spherical 4π geometry based on Huygens’ Principle: That says: “Every point on a wave front may be considered a source of secondary spherical wave, which spreads out in the forward direction at the speed of light”.

In this video, Quantum Entanglement is explained using simple diagrams that highlights an emergent process of spherical symmetry forming and breaking. This process is relative to the spherical surface that forms a manifold or boundary condition for the characteristics of quantum entanglement. The polarization or spin will be the same for the whole of the spherical surface. This will be observed as opposite spin on opposite sides of the light sphere.

We have the wave particle nature of light and matter in the form of electrons forming an interactive process or what I like to call a blank canvas that we can interact with. When we interact with the light waves by coming in contact with them, we form new photon ∆E=hf oscillations with particles characteristics. As part of an emergent process, this represents a new particle in space and a new moment in time.

This is a continuous process unfolding all around us with the spontaneous absorption and emission of light. Within such a process the uncertainty of quantum mechanics would be the same uncertainty we have with any future event. With an emergent uncertain future represented at the smallest scale of this process by Heisenberg’s Uncertainty Principle ∆×∆pᵪ≥h/4π.

It is because we are made of atoms that this process is relative to the energy and momentum of our actions. Therefore it is relative to how we set up and run experiments and I will place links below that explain how this emergent process can give us a logical understanding of the two slit experiment the Delayed Choice Quantum Eraser Experiment the EPR experiment and the polarization Paradox in visible light and microwaves.

Einstein’s Geodesics explained by a process of spherical symmetry formin...

One thing that all geodesics have in common is that the curved space is represented as a two dimensional surface embedded in our three dimensional space But there is no explanation of what this two dimensional surface is made of, or how it is formed. In this theory, we have a process of spherical symmetry forming and breaking, light radiates out has spherical waves and when it interacts with matter it forms photons that have particle characteristics. This forms the movement of charge with positive and negative charge forming the two dimensional surfaces for the geodesic. The characteristic of Positive and negative charge is formed by the outer convexed surface and the inner concaved surface. The wave particle duality of light and matter in the form of electrons is forming an emergent interactive process that is relative to the energy of each object or life form. This fits in with Einstein’s Relativity; where the curvature of space-time is directly related to the energy of whatever matter and radiation is within that reference frame. In relativity, proper time (from Latin, meaning own time) along a time-like world line is defined as the time as measured by a clock following that line. The apparent force of gravity is primarily due to the curvature of the “time” dimension, relative to the three spatial dimensions. Also the spherical geometry of this process can be seen in the work of Kepler. When he observed the motion of the planets, he found that they move in elliptical orbits with speeds that vary relative to their distance from the Sun. As the planet moves along its path, it sweeps out equal area segments in an equal time. There is a form of geometrical symmetry, but the symmetry is broken by the shape of the elliptical orbit. If the planets orbits were circular, there would be no variation in speed and we would have perfect symmetry in movement space and time.
