What is the Matrix

Quantum Atom Theory, QAT, is a dyslexic artist theory on the physics of time.

In this theory the mathematics of quantum mechanics represents the physics of time, with classical physics representing processes over a ‘period of time’ as in Newton’s differential equations.

Light is an electromagnetic wave and the nucleus of every atom is surround in an electron sphere of probability. For the atoms to interact, for atomic bonds to form and break there must be an exchange of photon energy. In this theory, there is an exchange of photon energy whenever our three-dimensional world changes forming greater degree of freedom for statistical entropy. A probabilistic future continuously unfolds photon by photon with each photon electron coupling or dipole moment. In this process, the atoms of the Periodic Table are standing waves in time based on the Strong Nuclear Forces, and Weak Interactions. Based on these two forces the atoms are standing waves that pre-exist within this process, absorption and emission, that forms our ever-changing world that we measure as a ‘period of time’.

The interior of the sphere is naturally three-dimensional with the outward momentum of the spherical surface forming the Inverse Square Law of Gravitational and electromagnetic fields. As an emergent outward geometry, the radiating energy and momentum will be at right angles to the surface of the sphere. This will form the inward characteristics of gravity with falling objects obeying the Inverse Square Law.

This process gives quantum properties to space and time itself, giving us Quantum Gravity.

In QAT there are no Gravitons because gravity is a secondary force to the EM force. Light photons play the part of Gravitons with both gravitational fields and EM fields moving at the same speed, the speed of light.  

Because the photon is the carrier of electromagnetic fields by uniting EM with gravity, this process can represent this theory agrees with Einstein’s idea that gravity is really an effect of space-time curvature. The space-time curvature is formed by the broken surface of the emerging spheres.

The universal geometrical process of spherical symmetry forming and breaking can be seen in Galileo realization that all projectile will follow a parabolic curve.

QAT uses the dynamic geometry of Huygens Principle that says:

"Every point on a wave front may be considered a source of secondary spherical 4πr² wave, which spreads out in the forward direction at the speed of light".

In this theory “every point” represents the potential for a photon ∆E=hf electron interaction, coupling or dipole moment. In the Huygens, description there is no explanation of why we choose only the forward direction. In this theory, each point on a wave front represents the potential for a photon spherical oscillation or vibration. We have photon electron coupling or dipole moment forming the potential for new spherical waves. In this theory, the wave front can only spread out in the forward direction. This is because it is part of an emergent process forming causality and forward passage of time. Relative to each object or life form the outward momentum of light and the forward passage of time are part of the same process formed by the spontaneous absorption and emission of light.

In this theory, light radiates out spherically forming the characteristics of temporal three-dimensional space with the spherical surface forming the holographic principle in the form of a two dimensional manifold for positive and negative charges.

In QAT there is no need for the extra dimensions of String Theory. This allows for the delicate balance of contraction and expansion. Opposite charges, attract and like charges repel this fundamental principle underlies the formation of atoms and the dynamics of cell life. The exchange of light photon energy with the movement of positive and negative charges gives rise to everything we have in our three-dimensional world. Whenever object touch it is charge, which makes contact.

In this theory we have one universal geometrical process with everything being based on an exchange of photon energy ∆E = hf, the whole of physics, chemistry and biology.  We can think of this as the other sciences emerging like the branches of a tree. Biology is the study of living organisms, which are the result of chemical interactions so all branches of biology stem from chemistry. Likewise, chemical reactions are formed by physical interaction, whenever the bonds between the atoms form or break there is an exchange of photon energy with the movement of charges. So all branches of chemistry stem from physics. Photon ∆E=hf spherical oscillations or vibrations precedes everything forming greater degrees of freedom for statistical entropy and the irreversible processes of classical physics. Such as heat energy always spontaneously flowing from hot to cold and friction always changing motion into heat.

The spherical geometry of this process forms a potential infinite number of line symmetries ‘arrows of time’ within each reference frame as spherical geometry radiates outwards. With the spherical wave front forming the mechanism for the potential of what might happen to become the actual of what has happened. This dynamic geometry forms the Uncertainty Principle ∆×∆pᵪ≥h/4π that is needed for the diversity of cell life, and complexity of creation. We have the build-up and organization of charges relative to the membrane of each living cell. This can be explained as photon potential energy transforming into the kinetic E=½mv² energy of matter, in the form of electrons as an uncertainty probabilistic future comes into existence.

This theory can be represented by just one equation: (E=ˠM˳C²)∞. This equation represents an emergent geometrical process in just three dimensions with one variable in the form of time. With energy, ∆E equals mass ∆M linked to the Lorentz contraction ˠ of space and time. The Lorentz contraction ˠ represents the time dilation of Einstein’s Theory of Relativity. The curvature of spacetime in Einstein Relativity is formed by the spherical surface as a process of symmetry forming and breaking. We have energy ∆E slowing the rate that time ∆t flows as a universal process of energy exchange or continuous creation. Rest mass M˳ will increase relative to this process with gravity being a secondary force to the electromagnetic force. The c² represents the speed of light c radiating out in a sphere 4π of EMR from its radius forming a square c² of probability. We have to square the electron e² charge and the probability of the wave-function Ψ² because the area of the sphere is equal to the square of the radius of the sphere multiplied by 4π. It is because we have to square the radius r² to find the spherical surface area that so many properties are squared in physics as in Ψ² t², c², e², and velocity v² as in kinetic E=½mv² energy. This simple geometrical process forms the probability and uncertainty of everyday life that at the smallest scale of the process is represented by Heisenberg’s Uncertainty Principle ∆×∆pᵪ≥h/4π.  The brackets in the equation (E=ˠM˳C²)∞ represent a dynamic boundary condition of an individual reference frame with an Arrow of Time or time line for each frame of reference. Photon electron interaction are the exchange mechanism between reference frames. 

The infinity ∞ symbol represents an infinite number of dynamic interactive reference frames that are continuously coming in and out of existence. Within this universal and continuous process of energy, exchange all motion is relative whether a body is in motion or at rest depends strictly on the point of view of the observer.

At the smallest scale the Planck Constant ħ=h/2π is a constant of action in the dynamic geometrical process that we see and feel as the passage of time. This would fit spherical 4πr² geometry of Huygens’ Principle of 1670.   The same spherical 4π geometry can be seen in the equation for Heisenberg's Uncertainty Principle ∆×∆p×≥h/4π. In addition, we have 2π linked to the Planck constant ħ=h/2π. A circle 2π can represent a two dimensional aspect of a dynamic spherical process.   

We find 2π if we reformulated Heisenberg's Uncertainty Principle based on energy and time ∆E ∆t ≥ h/2π. As part of a geometrical process this can represent, not just circular geometry, but also cylindrical geometry forming line symmetry. Representing the emergent time line of an individual reference frame as part of and emergent process of energy exchange.

In QAT, the Universe uses the simplest geometry to form complexity. The wave-function ψ radiates out based on spherical geometry that is squared ψ², the charge of the electron e is squared e² and the speed of the process c is squared c² representing one geometrical process.  When there is an exchange of energy in the form of a photon ∆E=hf electron coupling the energy levels cannot drop below the centre of the sphere. This is because it is relative to the radius of the probability cloud the surrounds the atomic nucleus. This forms a constant of action in space and time that we see mathematically as the Planck constant h/2π.

In mainstream theoretical physics, they came up with the idea of the reduced Planck constant ħ or h-bar just to get rid of the 2pi so the equations would be more compact. In this theory we have a Planck constant h/2π linked with 2π because a one-dimensional photon ∆E=hf electron spherical oscillation is formed by the one-dimensional spherical 4πr² surface.

Because the square of probability is relative to the spherical surface (wave-function ψ²) and the centre of the sphere (Planck constant h/2π), it forms another constant in the form of the Fine Structure Constant 1/137. We can represent the Fine Structure Constant 1/137 geometrically because we have a golden rectangle on each side of the square relative to the radius and the spherical surface. In this way the absorption and emission of light photon, energy forms the A and B of the Golden Ratio ϕ. Mathematically we have to square section A to form the golden rectangle out of section B. Energy levels continuously cascading down will repeat this process with smaller and smaller rectangles forming the Fibonacci spiral. In this theory we have the Fibonacci Spiral in nature, not because of economy of growth, but because the Golden Ratio is built into the geometrical process that forms the characteristics of three-dimensional space with one variable in the form of time.    

This geometrical process also forms the golden angle 137.5 that in the mathematics of quantum mechanics represents the Fine Structure Constant or Coupling Constant 1/137.

The golden angle 137.5 and the Fine Structure Constant 1/137 are measured in different units, but radians and degrees are a good aproximation of each other.

By this dynamic geometry, the Fine Structure Constant or Coupling Constant is linked to the speed of light c, the charge of the electron e² squared, the Planck constant h/2π and the permittivity of free space K=1/4πɛ˳. Within this theory, all these constants have a geometrical aspect with the photon and electron as particles being two aspects of the same geometrical process.

In QAT consciousness is the most advance part of a universal process. Conscious awareness and time are linked together because light has momentum and momentum is frame dependent. This means that every object can be placed in the centre of its own reference frame, even the EM activity that forms consciousness.

This process forms the potential for the concept of the individual mind with each one us having our own personal view of the Universe from the centre of our own reference frame in the ‘moment of now’. Being able to look back in time in every direction at the beauty of the stars.

The Two slit experiment can seem very logical if light is an electromagnetic wave over a ‘period of time’ with quantization taking place when there is an energy transfer process between field and matter, between photons and electrons. We have electromagnetic waves, going through both slits then the waves interact with each other forming constructive and destructive interference.

When the light waves come in contact with the rear screen the energy is converted back to another form of energy in a very local and quantized event, by light photon ∆E=hf energy transforming potential energy into the kinetic E=½mv² energy of matter, in the form of electrons. Kinetic energy is the energy of what is actually ‘happening’.

In this why an uncertain probabilistic future unfolds within the reference frame of the experiment forming the light and dark lines on the rear screen.

The wave particle duality of light and matter in the form of electrons is forming an interactive process, if we turn on an electronic detector the light waves collapse into photons. If we turn the detector off the light waves reform.

This is a universal process continuously happening all around us, we can see the same light and dark lines when sun light breaks through clouds in the sky.

In this theory, it is because we have an emergent process that the spontaneous absorption and emission of photon energy is equivalent to the big bang or the big bounce in the cyclic cosmological models. When I use the word equivalent I mean based on the same continuous geometrical process. Just as we have photon energy levels cascading down from the sun forming greater degrees of freedom for entropy and greater degrees of freedom for the complexity and diversity of cell life. We also have photon energy levels cascading down from the big bang representing an apex or beginning in our time line seen from are line of sight from the centre of the observable Universe. But this in no way represents the beginning of the Universe that is infinite and eternal in this theory.

 There is a paradox at the heart of the Big Bang Theory called The Initial Condition Paradox. The paradox is that within a Universe based on causality or cause and affect the potential for everything we see in the Universe today, including life must have existed in the initial condition has a potential possibility!

In an evolving deterministic Universe where the future is always based on the past there is only one way this paradox can be explained and that is if the fundamental nature of the Universe is a process of spherical symmetry forming and breaking. This can also explain why entropy was so low at the time of the Big Bang. Nothing has lower entropy than a sphere and as the spherical symmetry is broken it forms greater degrees of freedom for the ever-increasing entropy or disorganization that we have in the Second Law of Thermodynamics.

Within such a process, thinking of the Big Bang as a focus point from are line of sight or reference frame within the Milky Way Galaxy. The expansion of space and formation of time would naturally form spherical voids with galaxies on the surface and clusters at the intersections of the spherical voids. This fits in with observations of the Universe as a foam like structure similar to soap bubbles in which the walls of the bubbles represent concentrations of galaxies and their interior represent vast areas of space.

Note also, Maxwell's equations the equations of electricity magnetism and light are conformally invariant. Which means you don't need to the scale size doesn't come into it they're just as on the big scale and the small scale they're exactly the same they're insensitive to change of scale. This can be seen with charge being able to cover a large area of interstellar space in the form of plasma or even a complete spherical star.

In our Universe, we have a limiting velocity c with the speed of light being the maximum speed of causality. But in mainstream physics, there is no logical explanation of why the speed of light is so important. In this theory, it is logical that the speed of light is the maximum speed of causality. Hodgkin and Huxley Neuron model as a universal process of energy exchange. Hodgkin and Huxley basically explain Neurons as electric circuits with the organization and movement of positive and negative charge. The positive and negative is in the form of ion atoms. The neuron membrane acts as a boundary separating charge with ionic gates embedded in the cell membrane forming the potential for the build-up and movement of ion charge. The probabilistic emergent future of QAT could explain the experiment known as the Readiness Potential problem of conscious decisions making. It has been found by experiment that when a person is asked to move or make a decision the electrical activity of their brain forms a pattern of activity known as a Readiness Potential. What cannot be explained is that the reported time of each decision was consistently a short period (some tenths of a second) after the Readiness Potential appeared. The problem is there does not seem to be enough time for free-will to take place!

How does something as immaterial as consciousness arise from something as unconscious as matter?
