This video explains ‘Time’ as a physical process totally using physics supported by mathematics. This is done by explaining the Universe as a continuum with the spontaneous absorption and emission of light forming a universal process of energy exchange that forms the ever changing world of our everyday life that we try and measure as a period of time. The future is unfolding photon by photon with each new photon electron coupling or dipole moment. The wave particle duality of light forms an interactive process that we can interact with forming the possible into the actual! This is a potential sphere 4π of future uncertainty that at the smallest scale of this process is represented mathematically by Heisenberg's Uncertainty Principle ∆x∆p_xyz≥h/4π .
The future is an emergent property energy ∆E slows the rate that time ∆t flows creating a future relative to the energy and momentum of each object or life form with the Planck Constant ħ = h/2π being a constant of action in the dynamic geometry or flow of time.
In this theory the mathematics of quantum mechanics represents the physics of time with classical physics representing processes over a period of time as in Newton’s differential equations. But the great problem in explaining ‘time’ as a physical process is the physics has no understanding of ‘the moment of now’ and this is fundamental on how we see and feel the process that form the continuum of time.
This theory gets around this problem by explaining conscious awareness in its most basic form as electrical activity in the brain that is aware of its own electrical potential. Because the light photon is also the carrier of electromagnetism we then place each individual in the centre of their own reference frame in ‘the moment of now’ with a future that is always uncertain unfolding photon by photon.
It is because we are all in the centre of our own reference frame that we have the concept of ‘mind’ with each one of us having our own individual view of the Universe. Being able to look back in time in all directions at the beauty of the stars!
We can look out from the centre of our own reference frame with a past that has gone forever as a process of continuous energy exchange, continuous change. With future possibilities and opportunities that will be relative to the energy and moment of our own actions. We can also the measure of durations of events and the intervals between events in other reference frames as processes over a period of time.
The main affect this process of energy exchange has on us is the aging process. This process can be understood as a process of symmetry forming and breaking. Nothing has greater organization or lower entropy than a sphere. Light photon energy from the Sun cascades down forming greater degrees of freedom for increasing entropy or disorganization. This process of symmetry forming and breaking also forms the possibility for the formation of more complex and diverse forms of symmetry that we see in the imperfect symmetry of cell life. When the spherical symmetry is broken it forms spiral 2π or cylindrical symmetry forming the time line ∆E ∆t ≥ h/2π or Arrow of Time relative to the energy of the object or life form. We have an infinite number of line symmetries within a light sphere 4π that in this theory represents an infinite number of potential time lines for future possibilities and opportunities. We have a geometrical process in three dimensional space the wave function Ψ forms a square of future probability C² for the uncertainty of life. We have to square the radius of the sphere and multiple by 4π to get the area of the sphere. The area of the sphere represented by the positive curvature of the outer surface and the negative curvature of the inner surface forms a dynamic boundary condition. We see this process in our everyday life as the movement of positive and negative charge with the flow of electromagnetic fields. Charge is an innate part of all matter, so we have one universal process that I like to think of as a process of continuous creation with infinity in the hand and eye of the beholder!
