The question of ‘the present moment’ is a difficult one to address: What needs to be answered is how all life can experience ‘the moment of now’ at the same time?

We have new photon oscillations or vibrations continuously coming into existence relative to the atoms of the periodic table forming what we measure has a period of time. The atoms form standing waves in time with the spontaneous absorption and emission of light or photon energy forming the ever changing world of our everyday life that we see and feel as the passage of time.

One of the simplest forms of this can be seen as flowing water with hydrogen bonds breaking and reforming releasing photon energy with the future unfolding photon by photon relative to the flowing water.

The interactive creative nature of this process can be seen with just a change in temperature forming crystal structures in the form of infinite snowflakes diversity with no two snowflake patterns being identical.

Could multiple shadows of a solar eclipse projected on the ground represent the holographic principle?

Every part of a hologram contains the image of the whole object if you break a holographic image up you will see a picture of the whole image in every piece. Therefore if the Universe uses the holographic principle (that a description of a three dimensional volume of space is encoded on a two dimensional boundary) we would expect to see under certain conditions multiple images. The Universe is a continuum with the spontaneous absorption and emission of light forming the ever changing world of our everyday life with the future unfolding photon by photon!

 This process is unfolding within an infinite number of dynamic reference frames each one having its own gravitational field relative to its energy and momentum.

Each reference frame will have its own rate the time flows (time dilation) relative to its energy and momentum. Objects just free-fall towards the greatest energy because it has the greatest time dilation.

Because the process is universal each individual life form is in the center of their own reference frame has part of an interactive process. The future is unfolding photon by photon with each new photon electron coupling or dipole moment relative to the energy and momentum or actions of  the individual. 

  

Nobody has the slightest idea how anything material could be conscious.

Nobody has the slightest idea how anything material could be conscious. Everything from quantum mechanics to idealism (the theory that only the mental is real) and panpsychism (the doctrine that everything has mental properties) to try to solve the problem through the ‘principle of minimum mysteries’ quantum mechanics is a mystery, consciousness is a mystery, so perhaps they are one and the same mystery? But linking two mysteries together does not give us an objective understanding of ether. How is possible for me as an artist to experience the beauty of creating a work of art knowing that only I have exactly that vision from exactly that point of view?
This is the problem I also believe that there is a real objective art work and that I have objectively real eyes that take in light and objectively existing brain cells in my head that makes it possible

for me to see! How can objective things like brain cells produce subjective experience like the feeling that ‘I am creating a work of art? This has been called ‘the hard problem’ and Victorian thinkers called it

the ‘great chasm’ or the ‘fathomless abyss’. It is a modern version of the ancient mind/body problem.

In other words how is it possible to reconcile the objective world out there and the subjective experience in here with our sense of free agency with the clear evidence that the agent must be subject to the
deterministic laws of physics?

stream of consciousness’ that unbroken ever changing flow of ideas, perceptions, feelings and emotions that make up our lives. In such a theory consciousness is the most advanced part of a universal process within at Universe that is a continuum. Only ‘the moment of now’ exists with the future only existing as a probability function with a past that has gone forever as a process of continuous energy exchange forming the ever changing world of our everyday life a process I like to call ‘continuous creation’.  

Photosynthesis and an alternative quantum theory

Photosynthesis the scientific ability plant life has to use sunlight or photon energy to convert carbon dioxide and water into glucose and oxygen can seem magical! But if Quantum Mechanics represents the physics of 'time' as a process of continuous energy exchange formed by the spontaneous absorption and emission of light. With time and space as emergent properties with the future coming into existence photon by photon within the reference frame and relative to the atoms of an individual plant it can seem logical! 
Photon energy forms the movement of positive and negative charge and this is basically what we are seeing in photosynthesis. We are seeing the future unfolding with each new photon electron coupling with the movement of positive and negative charge relative to the structure of the plant. This happens when water molecules are split to forms positive charged protons in the form of hydrogen ions and the by-product oxygen that we breathe! 
Photosynthesis as a light dependent reactions starts when individual photons normally from the Sun are absorbed in the plant by pigments called 'chlorophyll'. When chlorophyll gets hit by a light photon an electron absorbs the energy and gets energized. This is the technical term for electrons gaining energy (the potential to do work).

Albert Einstein said: "Everything is vibration" But if this is true if everything is just a form of energy vibration then there should be a process where new vibrations come into existence and other ceased to exist. Also this process should be able to explain why we all have a future that is always uncertain and interactive relative to our actions with a past that is always unchangeable and only really existing as a memory in the mind of the individual.

Such a process has to be a physical continuum that is unfolding at the smallest unit of vibration energy the light quanta of quantum mechanics.

Therefore it is unfolding photon oscillation by photon oscillation forming a great dance of energy exchange with new photon oscillations continuously coming in to existence.

I believe we see and feel this process as the continuum of time itself!

Many people have said that 'time' cannot be explained as a physical process, but I disagree because all the hard work has been done, and only a new interpretation has to be put forward.

At the level of the atoms this process has been explained by quantum mechanics.

And at the level of our everyday life the photon oscillations are the carrier of the electromagnetic force with the movement of EM fields and the flow of electric charge this has been explained by Michael Faraday and others.

The interactive part of this process has been explained by the interactive geometry of Einstein's theories on relativity.

 This theory is very simple the outward momentum of light forms the forward flow of time within each individual reference frame. At the quantum level of the atoms this will be in the form of the quantum wave particle function Ψ or probability function.

This probability function will form Heisenberg's Uncertainty Principle ∆×∆p×≥h/4π representing the same uncertainty we have with any future event within our own reference frame.

This happens because light is a wave until it comes in contact with the electrons of an atom. When it does this it will form a photon electron coupling represents a new moment in time with matter anti-matter annihilation being the process that annihilates the past.

 Matter in the form of electrons are continuously interacting with light forming new probability wave function of future possibilities. Therefore we have a continuous renewing process forming the future photon by photon.
