Why are Ford Circles in our Mathematics the Hidden Geometry Within
We have an infinite number of Ford Circles between each whole number. This video puts forward a reason why based on the dynamic geometry of the Universe. Each Ford Circle rest upon each fraction in its lowest form.
The base line or number line represents a circle with infinite radius, that in this theory represents the time line of a geometrical process of energy exchange.
Note that each arc intersects its corresponding circles at right angles, just like electro-magnetic fields.
Ford circles can also be thought of as curves in the complex plane.
Ford circles can be generalized from the rational numbers to the Gaussian rationals, giving us Ford spheres. In this concept, the complex numbers are embedded as a plane or manifold in our three-dimensional space.
In this theory, we have Ford Circles in our mathematics, because the Universe is a continuum based on a geometrical process of spherical symmetry forming and breaking.
The geometrical aspect of this process is based on Huygens’ Principle 1670 that says,
“Every point on a light wave front has the potential for a new spherical 4πr² light wave".
We can think of ‘every point’ as a potential for a photon ∆E=hf electron interaction or coupling. The interior of the sphere naturally forms our three-dimensional space.
The spherical surface forms a boundary condition or manifold for positive and negative charge as the future unfolds with the exchange of quantized energy.
In this theory, the light photon and electron are two aspects of the same process they are not properties of space and time, they form the characteristics of three-dimensional space with one variable in the form of time.
Light and matter in the form of electrons moves as waves with particle characteristics as a probabilistic future comes into existence quanta by quanta, moment by moment.
Mainstream physics has no explanation why light only moves forward in Huygens Principle.
The light spheres of Huygens Principle radiate out in all directions, but they only ever move forward in space and time.
Huygens’s Picture of Wave Propagation
If a point source of light is switched on, the wave front is an expanding sphere centred at the source. Huygens suggested that this could be understood if at any instant in time, each point on the wave front was regarded as a source of secondary wavelets, and the new wave front a moment later was to be regarded as built up from the sum of these wavelets. For a light shining continuously, this process just keeps repeating.
In this theory, light only moves forward in space and time because every point on a wave front has the potential for a photon electron coupling or dipole moment.
When the wave front (surface of the sphere 4πr²) comes in contact with the electron probability cloud of an atom it forms a photon electron coupling or dipole moment forming new light waves.
The dynamic geometry of this process forms an uncertain ∆×∆pᵪ≥h/4π future continuously unfolding with the exchange of photon ∆E=hf energy.
Therefore, we see light always moving forward in space and time taking the shortest route and shortest time, a straight line with the future coming into existence photon by photon.
