Physics beyond the Standard Model refers to the theoretical developments needed to explain the deficiencies of the Standard Model, such as the origin of mass, the strong CP problem, neutrino, matter-antimatter asymmetry, and the nature of dark matter and dark energy. Another problem lies within the mathematical framework of the Standard Model itself -- the Standard Model is inconsistent with that of general relativity to the point that one or both theories break down in their descriptions under certain conditions (for example within known space-time singularities like the Big Bang and Black hole event horizon). All so the Standard Model falls short of being a complete theory of fundamental interactions because it does not include a reason for gravity or why light is a universal constant. On a more fundamental level it does not explain why we have a 'moment of now' with a past and an uncertain future. The theory explained in this video does, giving us an objective understanding far beyond the Standard Model.
