Could the future not exist until we make it, is it just a probability wave function?

The video: The future does not exist until we make it.

To have a theory of the universe where the future does not exist or only exist as a probability wave function we would need a process of continuous change formed by continuous energy exchange. And this is exactly what we have because the Universe is never at Absolute Zero. There is always the absorption and emission of photon energy. This theory explains the Universe as a continuum with an uncertain probabilistic future continuously coming into existence photon by photon, moment by moment.

As a process of energy exchange every object and life form is in the centre of their own temporal reference frame in the moment of now t=0.

We have a photon electron interaction between every cause and effect, between every action and reaction. Light is an electromagnetic wave with particle characteristics as the future unfolds.

The wave particle duality of light and matter, in the form of electrons, is forming blank canvas for us, as atoms, to interact with.

This process gives us the potential to form the possible into the actual quantum by quantum moment by moment.

This theory is called Quantum Atom Theory and is a relational interpretation of quantum mechanics. You will need an open mind to appreciate this theory, but I believe it is more logical that String Theory or the Many Worlds Interpretation.
