What is life and what is the relationship between the Universe and life? Could life be based on a universal process that can be explained by physics?

This video explains a new definition of life explaining life as electrical activity that is aware of its own electrical potential within a Universe of continuous change or energy exchange with the continuous movement of electromagnetic waves. Light is the visible form of an electromagnetic waves and it shares many of the characteristics with life. A candle flame in almost zero gravity even takes on the spherical geometry and characteristics of a living cell as can be seen from these images from the International Space Station. In almost zero gravity a candle flame forms a sphere that is interacting with the atmosphere on the two dimensional surface of the sphere.
